Scott Man Arrested After Firing Into Carport Ceiling
Scott Police arrested 19-year-old Erik Michael Domangue of Rice Circle for several charges including having a stolen firearm.
Sunday evening police were called out to a domestic disturbance between a father and son.
Domangue admitted two police he fired at least two shots while they were arguing using a gun he got from inside of his dad's home. One shot went into the ceiling of the carport; the other shot went into the ground.
He is facing the following charges:
- Possession of a stolen firearm
- Illegal carry of a weapon in possession of a controlled dangerous substance
- Possession of Marijuana
- Illegal discharge of a firearm in the city of Scott
Police say while patting down Domangue they found Marijuana.
When checking out the gun, police says it was reported stolen to the National Criminal Information Center database.
Domangue says he bought the gun off of Craigslist.
