SCOTT, La. (KPEL) -- A Scott man is facing several accounts of aggravated assault after he pointed a handgun at several people waiting at a school bus stop shortly after he suffered a seizure.

According to Chad Leger with the Scott Police Department, 35-year-old Robert Rowe III suffered the seizure at the school bus stop near the entrance of Audubon Acres Trailer Park.

After recovering, though, Rowe and his wife got into some kind of physical argument, he also allegedly threw rocks at his daughter, Leger said.

Rowe then pulled out a handgun and started pointing it at several people at the bus stop, including at several children getting off the bus, Leger said.

Responding officers found Rowe at his home, and he was taken into custody without incident.

He was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a charge of illegally carrying a firearm, ten counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, a charge of domestic abuse battery, and a charge of aggravated battery.

Rowe is being held on a total bond of $32,500, according to jail records.
