Scott Police were called out to investigate a single vehicle crash in the 1300 block of St. Mary Street around 7:30 Tuesday night.

Officers say 22-year-old Lindsey Rae Fusiler was driving southbound on St. Mary Street and was trying to make a left turn into a private drive.  She turned too short and hit the ditch.

Her two passengers, unknown to police, left before officer got the scene.

The woman admitted to a police officer she had been drinking and had consumed six beers and a Jell-O shot at the Eunice Mardi Gras festivities.

Fusiler was arrested and taken to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office where the Intoxilyzer 5000 test was conducted.  The results were .131g%.

She was then taken to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and booked with DWI along with improper turn onto a private drive.
