Scott Police Catch Accused Copper Thieves

Authorities arrest two men they believe stole copper wire from two businesses last month.

Scott Police say Joshua Foreman and Matthew Jameyson, both of Lafayette, stole over $53,000 worth of material from Entergy Services and MI Swaco in Scott. Police say the two men were both in jail already, accused of committing burglaries in Youngsville and New Iberia.

As police questioned the two men, they learned of a third suspect, Jacob Romero of Broussard.
