Scott Police Looking For Accused Wheelchair Thief

Scott Police have now identified a suspect after a woman's specialized wheelchair was stolen and then returned over the weekend. Chief Chad Leger says they need your help finding 42-year-old Joseph Romero Sr. of Lafayette.

The woman who the wheelchair belongs to, Lacey, suffers from Cerebral Palsy. According to Chief Leger, the wheelchair was taken from a local campground in Scott then dropped off one night at the Scott Maintenance Building.
