Scott Police Make Late Night Drug Bust

36 year old David Dewayne Sweet of Scott was arrested last night (Monday) and charged with a traffic violation and two counts of drug possession. Sweet was observed driving erratically and was pulled over by officers. A search found a small quantity of cocaine in a shirt pocket and a little over 14 grams of marijuana in Sweet's car. Sweet was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
