Scott Police Searching For Home Burglary Suspects

The Scott Police Department is on the lookout for two Lake Charles residents wanted for a residential burglary.

Police Chief Chad Leger said the department has obtained arrest warrants for 26-year-old Kylie M. Payne and 53-year-old James D. Runte, both wanted for felony burglary following an April 14 robbery.

Investigators determined the suspects allegedly broke into a Scott residence, removed a safe containing a large amount of cash and personal documents and returned to the Lake Charles area.

Leger said the pair may still be residing in Calcasieu Parish, but may also be found in the Houston area.
