Scott Woman Arrested For Hitting Husband With Picture Frame

A 58-year-old Scott woman was arrested by police for domestic abuse battery after hitting her common law husband in the head with a glass picture frame.

Early this morning, Scott Police Officer were called out to Doris Laday's home about a domestic disturbance.

Officers found the man outside of his home, holding a towel over his head to control the bleeding after he said his wife hit him in the head with the frame.

The couple started verbally fighting over the man's state of intoxication when Laday is alleged to have hit her husband in the head.

The man had several lacerations, and she was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
