Black Elk Energy has decided to stop the search for a worker missing since Friday's fire and explosion on their oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico.  Jerome Malagapo was employed by Grand Isle Shipyard who had the refurbishing contract with Black Elk.

The body of 42-year-old Elroy Corporal was found Saturday night, and four people who were burned during the platform fire are still being treated at a Baton Rouge hospital.

In a press release this week, the company said they will be working with victims and their families.

Authorities say they are still investigating to determine what caused the fire and explosion on the platform.
