(KPEL) — A second arrest has been made in connection with a series of copper thefts in St. Landry Parish in which one person has already been arrested.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says 28-year-old Christopher Holeman has been booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on felony theft charges.

Guidroz says the earlier arrest Walter Ryder yielded “records of numerous sales of copper made by both Ryder and Holeman from April to July 2012.”

Holeman is being held on a $10,000 bond.
