For the second time in a week the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's office has arrested a woman for leaving her children in a locked car.

Friday, deputies arrested 26 year old Faith Denae LaFleur for leaving her three children in a car while she went shopping for over an hour. With windows rolled up and the engine off three children ages 11 months, two years old and five years old were left alone. It was determined that temperature in the car reached 130 degrees. The children were examined and found to be dirty, sweaty and hungry.

LaFleur's bond was set at $10,000 and the investigation was turned over to the Department of Child and Family Services.

Earlier on Friday deputies arrested another Lake Charles woman for leaving her children in a locked SUV while she and her boyfriend had sex in another vehicle.
