Section Of I-10 In Lafayette To Close Wednesday Morning

I-10 Eastbound at North Universtiy Avenue will be closed Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. so that engineers can safely take measurements regarding a fatal crash.

Lafayette Police say I-10 traffic will be diverted onto Ambassador Caffery to West Willow Street while the roadway remains closed.

Police are urging drivers to avoid the area until the roadway is re-opened.
