Sen. Landrieu Supporting Many Of Jindal’s Education Reform Proposals

Governor Jindal has an unlikely ally in his push for sweeping change in how the state educates its poorest students. Sen. Mary Landrieu supports many of the governor's ideas, bucking traditional pro-Democrat unions and suggesting she'll back a statewide voucher program. She's also taking it a step further. Landrieu has pledged to get involved in the state legislative haggling, a rare move for a U.S. Senator.
