Democrats have been calling for the abolishment of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Some have campaigned on it; some in the U.S. House are preparing legislation that would get rid of the agency, according to the Washington Examiner.

And U.S. Senator John Kennedy has had enough of it.

He's leading the way in spearheading efforts by a group of GOP senators by introducing a resolution to condemn calls to abolish ICE.

"I've been appalled," says Kennedy on Acadiana's Morning News. "I think there will be a continued effort by folks on the Left to try to get rid of all border laws in America. And I think it's a recipe for disaster."
