US Senator Mary Landrieu is urging the Department of Energy to act on a loan application from start-up car manufacturer Next Autoworks.Next Autowork needs 321-million dollars to build a proposed auto assembly  plant  in Monroe.  During  a  Senate  Energy  and  Natural
Resource Committee, Landrieu  told Jonathan Silver,  who  heads  the department  of energy's loan program, that funding from Louisiana is
in jeopardy,  because  of  the federal government's slow response to Next Autworks application.  The Next Autoworks plant  has  the  potential  to  create 14-hundred jobs.
