One year from tomorrow voters will decide who will represent Louisiana in the U.S. Senate.  Senator Mary Landrieu is up for re-election with Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy being the most prominent of her opponents.

Cassidy's campaign has raised a significant amount of money but his efforts seem to be slowing down while Landrieu continues to forge ahead in her efforts.  While Cassidy's campaign seems to be slowing down but former Air Force Colonel Rob Maness of Madisonville has picked up the endorsement of the Senate Conservatives Fund.

With the election a year away it still leaves plenty of time for fund raising, endorsements from various political groups and the possibility of other candidates entering the race.  The questions remain, will Landrieu win a fourth term in the U.S. Senate or will she be defeated by Cassidy, Maness or a yet unknown candidate.
