Senator Lieberman Talks About His New Book

U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman joined Bernadette Lee and Ken Romero on "Mornings With Ken and Bernie" today to talk about his new book, "Gift of Rest".

The Senator is Jewish, and he says setting Saturday aside has been a rule he has followed for years.  Lieberman says their is peace to be found in a day of rest, and he believes Jews, Christians and others can all benefit from taking time off each week to reflect.

Lieberman says he has had some interesting encounters with friends and business associates who have perhaps not understood his dedication to his beliefs, but Lieberman says it has never changed his mind.  He adds that his duties as a Senator have also had an impact on his faith.
