Senator Vitter Urges Congress To Work Over 4th

Instead of taking their July 4th recess, Senator David Vitter called on the Senate leadership yesterday to stay in session next week to debate measures to address spending and debt.
He says, “Congress must stop wasting time before the debt limit expires.” He says those discussions should not happen “behind closed doors among a handful of individuals.”
