Severe Storm Injures 2 Dozen

VAN, Texas (AP) — The fire marshal in Van Zandt County, Texas says about a third of the city of Van sustained some kind of damage from yesterday's severe storm that's believed to have been a tornado.

Authorities say about two dozen people were injured and some homes were completely destroyed.

The storm was part of severe weather that stretched across North Texas on Sunday.
