Sex Offender Arrested-Failure To Register-Selling Drugs

St. Martin Parish Deputies arrested 41 year old Joseph Gilliam on numerous charges. Gilliam was wanted on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender but when he was caught more charges were filed. At the home where Gilliam was found officers also found drug paraphernalia and quantities of marijuana, crack cocaine, cocaine, hydrocodone and methamphetamine. Gilliam was charged with possession with intent to distribute, operation of a clandestine lab to manufacture illegal drugs in a drug free zone. After his arrest Gilliam was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
