Sex Offender Arrested In St. Martinville On Array Of Charges

39-year-old Eldridge Marshal, Jr. is now behind bars in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on various charges after allegedly failing to register a change of address because he's a sex offender.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office spokesperson Major Ginny Higgins says Marshal was arrested at a residence on Journet Drive in St. Martinville. In addition to that charge, Marshal faces the following charges:

• Possession of a Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
• Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law (drug free zone)
• Illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a CDS
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
