Sex Offender Busted In Eunice
Yesterday morning Eunice police responded to a burglary call at 1426 Amazon Street. 50 year old Peter Miller told officers he had just moved to the home and his tools had been stolen.
The responding officer left and discovered that Miller was a registered sex offender and had not reported a change of address. Officers returned to Miller's home and saw him driving away and pulled him over. Miller's drivers license was suspended so he was charged with driving under suspension, failure to secure registration and failure to register his new address as a sex offender. Miller was booked into the Eunice jail. Miller appeared in front of Judge Donald Hebert and bond was set at $6,000. Miller bonded out shortly after.
