Thierry’s Sex Offender Legislation Passes

A bill that would make it illegal for some convicted sex offenders to use Facebook or other internet social media sites passes a Senate Committee.The bill by Opelousas Representative Ledricka Thierry says the new law would target offenders who have had
issues with computers and minors in the past. Thierry says the bill would not only ban use of these sites, but also prohibits these sex offenders from creating profiles or web pages about themselves.
