Sheriff Looking For Home Invasion Suspects

Investigators with the Lafayette Sheriff's Office are trying to identify 2 men who forced their way into a home on Kentucky Lane sometime after 10:30 pm Tuesday night.

A 14 year old male was held at gun point, but no injuries were reported.  A safe was stolen from the home.  The suspects are described as 2 black males wearing dark clothing and bandannas both are approximately 6 feet tall with medium builds. The suspects parked their car on a side street where surveillance cameras from another home captured images of their car either a Chevrolet or GMC SUV either pewter or gray in color investigators believe it to be an early to mid 2000 year model vehicle.
