According to NBC6/Miami, the Broward Sheriff's Union wants to discontinue providing police escort for the Miami Dolphins football team until all players agree to stand for our national anthem.

The team made news recently when several members decided to take a knee, following the lead of Colin Kaepernick, an NFL player who took a knee during the anthem to protest police brutality, among other concerns.

The union is urging all agencies to immediately suspend escort protection for the team.
