Shooter Arrested In Mercer Street Homicide

Today 21 year old Jordan Bernard of Lafayette turned himself in to the Lafayette Police Department in connection with the shooting death of Albert Gilbert. After a disturbance on Mercer Street Saturday night March 21, 2015 Gilbert was found to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Gilbert was transported to a local hospital were he later died. After investigating the incident a warrant was issued for Jordan Bernard's arrest.
