Shooting Claims Lafayette Man

A Lafayette man is behind bars following an early morning disturbance which left another man dead. Police say and argument that started indoors between Jonathan Troy Alfred and the victim continued outside. Both men exchanged gunfire. The victim was struck twice and died from his wounds. Alfred is charged with Second Degree Murder. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family.
