A vehicle was parked on West 7th Street in Crowley.  That was where Crowley Police say that an unknown suspect or suspects walked up and began firing at the car that had two people in it.  The shots fired hit one of the occupants of the vehicle in the arm and leg, though police say that the wounds were not life threatening.

Chief K.P. Gibson said that while they aren't completely sure, they believe that the shooting may be connected to a murder that took place on Friday night on Jacobs Avenue that, according to our news partner at KATC, claimed the life of Greginald Jones.
