Shooting Victims Identified; Suspect In Custody

The two people found dead in a home on Warren Street yesterday morning have been identified. Lafayette Police believe Lemuel Brown the Third and Lona Carter, both of Lafayette, were shot by Eric Jude Abshire after he went to the house and began arguing with them. Abshire is in jail facing murder and drug charges.
