SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — The Shreveport Farmers' Market has kicked off its four-week fall season at the city's Festival Plaza in the downtown area.

Market manager Noma Fowler-Sandlin told The Times that this year's market features new meat, craft and produce vendors.

The market, which draws vendors from east Texas and northwestern Louisiana, will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through Nov. 17.
