SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — A Shreveport man has been arrested for allegedly firing shots at his ex-girlfriend.

Police said Wednesday that the woman fired back, but no injuries were reported. The woman was not arrested.

Police were called to a residence Tuesday evening after reports of gunfire.

A 28-year-old woman said her ex-boyfriend fired multiple shots at her before fleeing.

Thirty-two-year-old Lovell Ellis was located a short time later and arrested without incident. He was booked with one count of illegal use of a weapon.
