Shreveport Streets Serve As Movie Set This Week
SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Parts of downtown Shreveport are being used as a movie set this week.
A thriller entitled "Olympus Has Fallen" was set for filming throughout Monday and traffic delays were expected on Shreveport thoroughfares including Texas, Marshall, and Common Streets.
Filming is to continue on Tuesday with special effects work -- including gunfire, smoke and explosions
And, KSLA TV reports (http://bit.ly/LJ1czj ) that filming is expected to begin soon at a replica of the White House, currently under construction in Bossier City.
The action thriller stars Gerard Butler, Dylan McDermott and Aaron Eckhart. Butler will play an ex-Secret Service agent fighting to defend the White House from terrorists.
