SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — A Shreveport woman has been booked with second-degree murder after an investigation into the fatal stabbing of her husband earlier this month.

Police had been called to the home of 60-year-old Louie Cobb and 47-year-old Linda Cobb on Dec. 4. Louie Cobb was hospitalized with a stab wound to the chest and later died.

Linda Cobb was questioned and released after the stabbing. However, Shreveport police said Wednesday that an investigation determined there was not enough evidence to support her initial claims of self-defense. She was booked Wednesday into the Shreveport jail.
