Singer Aaron Carter and his girlfriend were arrested in Georgia Saturday night.

According to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office the singer was pulled over after police were notified of a vehicle driving recklessly down the highway.

Once police caught up to the singer's car he was pulled over and reportedly charged with three misdemeanors: DUI, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carter was released from jail Sunday afternoon after he placed bond.

This is not a good look for the singer as he was trying to relaunch his career. As to be expected, Carter did release this statement via Twitter:
