Singing Christmas Tree Returns To Lafayette First Baptist

For decades the First Baptist Church of Lafayette has presented "The Singing Christmas Tree" featuring singers, dancers and actors.  The original performances were held at the Cajundome but the latest performances have been held in the newly rebuilt church in downtown Lafayette.

More than 150 people participate in the multimedia event that includes nearly 12 miles of Christmas lights.  Performances begin this Friday night and continue through Monday evening.  Tickets are available on-line at www.fbclaf.org.
