I know a few people who are phobic about public restrooms. Some people "hover" over the seat of public toilets, for fear of catching an infectious disease.

Guess what! The bacteria on that toilet seat are probably already present on your own butt. If the thing's got visible nastiness all over it, that's obviously a different story.

If you think those seat covers protect you, think again. The bacteria present in the toilet bowl swirl into the air upon flushing.

According to vice.com, those germs land on the toilet paper dispenser, door handle and various other surfaces, including those seat covers.

Would you believe the bacteria on your phone are more abundant, and dangerous?

I remember a conversation several years ago, with a young woman woman who said, "Who cleans their phone, anyway?" I do, regularly.
