Six Flags New Orleans Still Sits Abandoned

Since the wrath of Hurricane Katrina, the amusement park that was most recently known as Six Flags New Orleans sits rotting away.  The park is in a state of decay that few amusement parks ever see before they get dismantled.

Theblaze.com did a recent feature story on a photographer that explores various places that are abandoned.  His excursion can be seen in full on flickr, but the pictures are simply haunting.  It is the sort of thing that you would see in a post apocalypse movie.
