It was a harrowing moment over Wisconsin Saturday night as two planes carrying skydivers collided at 12,000 feet.

According to Mike Robinson a skydiving instructor and safety adviser for Skydive Superior the two planes were flying a routine tandem formation when the planes collided.  Robinson along with three others were ready to jump from one plane while five others were preparing to jump from the second plane.

After the collision a fireball sheared off a wing of the first plane.  All the skydivers jumped and landed safely.  The pilot of one plane landed safely while the other pilot ejected and suffered minor injuries.
