Skyward Studio’s Aerial Shots Of ‘jeep jaunt’ 2014

Skyward Studio of Lafayette used drones and Jeep-mounted GoPro cameras to capture the spectacle that is 'jeep jaunt'.

The annual 'jeep jaunt' is a Jeep and 4x4 run from Celebrity Theaters in Broussard to Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel in Charenton, all in efforts to raise money for the American Lung Association's mission to eradicate lung disease.

This year's event, the 9th annual, was captured by the photo/video professionals at Skyward Studio, using Jeep-mounted and drone-mounted cameras.  The results of their production show how huge the 'jeep jaunt' has become, and also shows some of the beautiful South Louisiana scenes from the ride.

The 'jeep jaunt' this year raised almost $60,000 for the American Lung Association, bringing our total to almost a half a million dollars in the past 9 years.  This money is helping to fund smoking cessation programs, lung disease education and other advocacy programs, and continuing the fight for clean air.

The next 'jeep jaunt' is tentatively scheduled for October 25, 2015, and will be our 10th annual event.  We hope to see you there and, if we do, be sure to wave to the cameras!
