A New Orleans teen is in custody and officials are looking for two other suspects tied to home invasion robberies where smokers may have been targeted.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand says 19-year-old Charles Adams is in jail charged with crimes linked to the home invasion robberies in the New Orleans area.  The sheriff says Adams and two others allegedly hit homes on North Tonti and Woodlawn Place in New Orleans and on Rosa Avenue in Metairie over the last few weeks.  Officials say the victims, who possibly were chosen because they were smoking outside their homes, were forced to drive at gunpoint to an ATM to take out money.
