Social Security Recipients To Get Increase In Benefits

Good news for those on Social Security. For the first time since 2009, recipients will be getting a 3.6% increase in benefits starting in January. Earl Williams with the AARP of Louisiana says there was no Cost Of Living Allowance (COLA) in 2010 or 2011 because inflation was too low. Williams says many people rely on Social Security for more than 90% of their income.
