Thousands Of Dollars Of Damage To Rayne Tractor

A local farmer is having to pay thousands of dollars to fix his damaged tractor after someone shot it up.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man reported that someone came onto his property, and this person or people damaged his John Deere tractor by shooting at it.

The tractor had been struck several times.

This happened on July 24, 2016 at around six o'clock in the evening in the 2200 block of W. Jefferson Davis Ave.
