Spanish Jet Returns With Priest With Ebola Virus
MADRID (AP) — Spain's Defense Ministry says a Spanish missionary priest who has tested positive for the Ebola virus has landed in Spain on a flight from Liberia.
The Ministry says the medically equipped Airbus 310 landed today at an air base close to Madrid.
The priest, Miguel Pajares (puh-HAHR-ays), will be treated at a hospital in the Spanish capital.
It's the first time that someone infected with Ebola will be treated in Spain.
Parajes was helping treat people infected with Ebola and is one of three who tested positive at the San Jose de Monrovia Hospital in Liberia.
