WASHINGTON (AP) — Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy will meet with President Barack Obama next month at the White House.

The White House says the Jan. 13 meeting will address their support for the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, a proposed U.S.-European Union trade agreement currently in the midst of negotiations.

The White House says the two also will discuss promoting economic growth and jobs, cooperation within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, their common interests in Latin America and challenges in North Africa and the Middle East.
