Bob Sevin of the Grand Isle Speckled Trout Fishing Rodeo visited 'Mornings With Ken & Bernie' today and said the second rodeo after the BP oil spill should have exceptional fishing this weekend.

Recent fishing has been great according to Sevin, "There is a lot of specks being caught on the beach.  A couple of my buddies have been limiting out every day."

According to Sevin some skill is needed to win the rodeo but an element of luck is also involved.  He noted that last year's winner was a 12 year old girl who won the title by a margin of two tenths of a pound.

The rodeo begins this Friday morning at first or safe light and ends at Noon on Sunday.  Entries are available on line at www.speckledtroutrodeo.com.  There will be plenty of food and music with entertainment for the whole family for the Memorial Day weekend.
