Happy New Year to you!

One of the most exciting events for Americans is to celebrate with the dropping of the crystal ball at midnight in Times Square. This year the ball has 2,688 crystal panels, and one of them was designed by 12 year old St Jude Children's Research Hospital patient Coraliz Martinez.

Waterford Crystal came to St. Jude to team up with them on their first annual "Gift of Imagination" program, and Coraliz was chosen for her beautiful design of her symbol of hope - a blooming rose. By the way - this brave young lady had been diagnosed with bone cancer in her left leg in 2012, and thanks to her treatment at St. Jude, Coraliz is now cancer-free!

Sound like a great way to start 2014! We'll be thinking of you when the ball drops at midnight, Miss Coraliz Martinez! God Bless all the kids at St Jude, and you, our friends, who continue to donate year after year so that they may have a chance at a beautiful life.
