St. Landry Authorities Looking For Theft Suspect

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for 36-year-old Travis Soileau, a man believed to be involved in several four-wheeler and lawnmower thefts within St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes.

Authorities say he drives gray 2000 GMC truck bearing LA plate X597960. Soileau has two active arrests warrants from the 27th Judicial District Court charging him with felony theft.

Anyone who may have purchased items from Soileau is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division and speak with Detective Keith Dupre.  Authorities say Soileau has been involved in a number of thefts in the area and the public may not be aware items they may have purchased from him are stolen.  The public can also contact the St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS and report it to Captain Jimmy Darbonne.
