St. Landry Parish Deputies Attend Funeral Of Fallen St. John the Baptist Deputy

(KPEL) -- Deputies from St. Landry Parish were in St. John the Baptist Parish this morning, paying their respects to one of two deputies killed there when they were ambushed Thursday.

Jeremy Triche is being laid to rest in La Place. He leaves behind a wife and a 2-year-old son. He would have turned 28 today.

Funeral services for Brandon Nielsen, the other deputy slain during the ambush, will be held tomorrow.
