St. Landry Parish Murder Suspect Captured

26 Kiara Deshon Rideau of Opelousas is jailed in Dallas, Texas charged with Second Degree murder. Rideau was on the run since October 24th.  Quinton Carrier died after being shot near the Airport Quick Stop on Highway 749 in Opelousas. Rideau and the victim had been involved in an ongoing dispute. Rideau is awaiting extradition to Opelousas from Dallas.
