A teacher in St. Landry Parish is under investigation after a recent Facebook post to her page.

In the comment section of a post, a North Elementary School teacher, Angellica Stelly, allegedly threatens to harm white citizens if they look at her.

According to KLFY-TV, the viral post read as follows: “I’m about to start carrying a gun and when i tell a Caucasian person to stop looking at me and they fail to stop looking at me I’ll just shoot them…”

The St. Landry Parish School Board is aware of the post and the Superintendent of Schools has reportedly met with the Human Resource Department for the parish. The Superintendent would not comment on if such a post warrants termination.

Here's another example as to why you should always be careful as to what you say or put on social media. We will continue to follow this story.

UPDATE: A woman named Andree Lamkee said the comment made by Ms. Stelly was taken out of context. Someone posted her message on our page and she says that Ms. Stelly was being sarcastic when she made the alleged comment. Lamkee went on to say that Ms. Stelly is a wonderful teacher and simply used a "poor choice of words."
